Steve Leonard Bartlett, born on April 29, 1963, in Culver, California, was a spirited adventurer whose life was filled a love for the great outdoors and motorsports. Sadly, on January 2, 2025, we lost Steve at the age of 61 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Steve spent his life working as a carpet installer through Kelly's Carpet of Omaha. Steve was the kind of man who found joy in the simple things. Whether he was cooking up a  barbecue or cracking open a cold Bud Light, he lived each day with an infectious sense of joy and aliveness. His quirky preference for Captain Morgan with Dr. Pepper became a kind of informal signature, much like his warm laugh that resonated through every gathering. Steve was a man who lived for the thrill of an adventure. Whether it was racing motorcycles, fishing, Air boating, working on cars, Steve knew how to make the simplest moments feel like grand explorations. Steve had a love for animals and you never knew when he would show up with a new stray dog or cat. When Steve's health didn't allow him to enjoy the outdoors he enjoyed watching NASCAR, Goldrush, Rachael Ray cooking show, YouTube videos consisting of catfishing and hotrods.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Judy Bartlett.

He is survived by his children, Trever (Lachelle) Bartlett and Angela Schneider; grandchildren, Kyler, Jalynn, Peyton and Francisco; brother, Scott Bartlett; spouse, Sugar Spicer.

Steve touched the lives of many people with his strength and abilities to overcome struggles. Steve had a smile and since of humor that will forever be remembered. Friends and family are invited to attend service
