Stephanie Lynn Orfe, born on December 6, 1980, in Great Falls, Montana, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a devoted mother to her three beloved children: Vaeda, Brodie, and Odessa. Stephanie's love for her family knew no bounds, she cherished every moment spent with them and instilled in them the values of kindness, stubbornness and compassion.

Stephanie graduated from Bellevue University with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in behavioral science. Her passion for understanding the human mind was matched only by her deep love for animals, particularly sea lions. Though she pursued a career rooted in psychology, her heart always leaned toward marine life and the joy of working alongside these magnificent creatures.

A free spirit at heart, Stephanie enjoyed hiking through nature among mountains and trees which brought her much joy as did listening to reggae music and enjoying spontaneous moments like skinny dipping. Music played an important role in her life, you would often find her listening to Van Morrison, Greta Van Fleet, Florence & The Machine. In the mornings we would always be awakened to reggae blasting from the living room and she'd be dancing around and feeling the music in her bones. That's the kind of person she was .

Stephanie is survived by her loving father Chris and stepmother Colleen. Her children Vaeda, Brodie, and Odessa. As well as her sisters Tanie, Kellie, and brother Chad who are not just siblings but also lifelong friends, along with countless other family members who adored her vibrant spirit. Stephanie is preceded by her mother Vicky, her daughter Cora, and best friend Kelley along with many others who are missed dearly.

Though Stephanie left this earthly world far too soon at the age of 44 years old, the impact she made will forever echo within those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we remember Stephanie Lynn Orfe today, and always, we hold close memories we've had the opportunity to share and experience together. A reminder that true beauty lies both within ourselves, and all around us.

Her celebration of life took or (will take place) on Saturday January 18th at Faith Christian Church in Omaha, NE. A fitting tribute to celebrate a life filled with laughter and adventure. Friends gathered to share stories that emphasized Stephanie's infectious smile and unwavering love for family, friends, and life.
