Paul Eugene Dubuc was born in Omaha NE on April 3rd, 1956, and was raised locally by the Abboud Family. Paul was the owner of D&D Construction and a life-long resident from the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. He passed away at home surrounded by family after a long battle of cancer on Sunday September 29th, 2024, at the age of 68.

Paul showed great interest in construction in his earlier teens and started working with his Uncle's Commercial Construction Company in the Summer's during high school. By the age of 21 he built his first Spec House. He continued to design, build and remodel Commercial and Residential homes the rest of his days.

On January 2nd, 1990, he married Mary McIntyre(Dubuc). Paul and Mary first met at a bowling alley when they were in their early teenage years. Over the next 10 or so years Paul and Mary led separate lives but continued to run into each other on different occasions. Then in 1985 after Mary had been married with 2 small children, they ran into each other and there was no doubt from that night forward they would be together for the rest of their lives.  With each of his children, it was clear to all his family that they were always the most important parts of his life. Paul was a devoted father, husband, grandpa, brother, friend, and an avid family man. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was free spirited and always had a positive attitude. Paul's optimistic outlook no matter the circumstances or situation showed through even to his last days! Paul's humor was one of his most identifiable qualities that would resonate through all facets of his life. Paul had the ability to bring laughter to everyone around him, including the hospital staff near the end of his life. He was an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhusker and Denver Broncos. Paul also enjoyed continuing family traditions of his Lebanese heritage by making various foods. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who know him.

Paul is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Alex Hinkle (Kerry Tahmahawk, wife), Dillon Dubuc(James Dubuc Husband), Alicia Brayman (Dubuc)(Brooke Brayman, wife); stepchildren, Jamie Cooley, Justin Cooley; brothers, Ted Dubuc and Michael Dubuc; sister, Danielle Dubuc-Pedersen; grandchildren, Macy, Madeline, Gage, and Aksel. And a host of many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Paul will be at 17012 Bohling Dr Omaha NE, 68136 (Justin Cooley's House) on Saturday, Oct 5th, 2024, from 2:30 - 6:30pm. We will celebrate Paul and cheer on the Huskers like he will be from above. Food and Drink will be provided.
