IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michelle Jean
Anderson
April 4, 1966 – February 6, 2026
Michelle Jean Anderson, 59, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Omaha, Nebraska. Born on April 4, 1966, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Michelle brought warmth and joy to those around her through her kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Michelle was the beloved daughter of Mary Hingorani (Indru) and Larry Anderson (Jeanette). She shared a close bond with her brother, Steve Anderson, and was a cherished presence in the lives of her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She leaves behind three grandchildren, Angela Behrens, Ian Behrens, and Aidan Hingorani, who will carry forward her memory with love. She endured profound loss with strength, having been predeceased by her son, Brian Lee Brumbaugh, and daughter, Christina Marie Hingorani. Her grandparents, Marvin and Muriel Anderson; Ellen and Albert Thompson, preceded her as well. Michelle and Grandpa Al were "roomies" for many years and shared a special bond.
Michelle had many passions in life, including her love for tending to plants and thrifting with family. She loved listening to rock music, watching horror movies (even though they scared her), and crafting. Whenever there was an event, you could always count on her to bring a dish made by hand. She had a love for dogs, particularly the one she cared for dearly, a Pomeranian named Lexi.
She will be remembered as a woman who gave freely of herself to others. Her thoughtful nature touched many lives, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness.
