Jason Raymond Dotzler
November 23, 1984 – July 22, 2025

Jason Raymond Dotzler, 40, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on July 22, 2025. He was born on November 23, 1984, along with his twin brother, Jonathan, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Jason, one of 14 children, was raised in Omaha, Nebraska by parents, Ron and Twany Dotzler. He was a gifted runner, sensitive to the pain of others, and was known as the family comedian, making everyone laugh. At a young age he enlisted and served for four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. Jason married Hope, who was not only the love of his life but the rock he could lean on. They were married for 19 years and have 4 sons: Rycen, Merytt, Kayne and Bryx. Jason was a husband, brother, son and friend to many. He loved his family and worked hard to give his sons a bright future.

In the past few years Jason embraced faith in Jesus and made it a priority for he and his family. His commitment to Jesus was expressed through his baptism, his commitment to his small group, and to regular attendance at Love Church. He was extremely grateful for God's grace, mercy, and love and enjoyed having spiritual conversations with anyone who would listen. He loved his church family and connected well with the pastors and men's group.

Jason will always be known for his big laugh, quick wit, and generous heart. He loved spending time with his family and making memories.  He will be forever missed.

Jason is survived by his beloved wife, Hope Dotzler; their sons, Rycen (15), Merytt (12), Kayne (9), Bryx (5) ; His parents, Ron and Twany Dotzler; and his thirteen brothers and sisters. He also leaves behind countless nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Jason's life will be held at 10am on Saturday, July 26th, 2025, at Abide's Better Together Campus Gymnasium located at 3223 N 45th Street.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Jason's wife and children.
